The bars

Each bar is one hour. The thin line shows the highest and lowest price expected in that hour; the thick body spans the start and end price. Green means the hour ends higher than it began, red means lower.

The shaded ranges

The forecast is not a single number — it is a range of possible outcomes. The darker band holds the middle 40% of them, the lighter band the middle 80%. A wider band means less confidence, and the bands widen the further ahead you look.

"Of the close" measures where each hour finishes. "Of the whole bar" widens the band to cover the highest and lowest price touched during the hour, so it shows the full trading range rather than a probability for one number.

Bar shape

The model predicts the open, high, low and close separately, so they sometimes disagree — a predicted high can land below the predicted close. These buttons choose how much to reconcile them. Continuous is the most readable: each bar starts where the previous one ended, so green and red match the direction you see.

Uncertainty in bps

One basis point is one hundredth of a percent. "±35 bps" means the wide range reaches about 0.35% above and below the central forecast.
